Global Warming Scenarios
Adam: Steve, there is a lot of talk about the various potential threats of climate change. What are the most likely global warming scenarios?
Steve: There are two scenarios considered to be most likely to happen:
The first scenario assumes that humanity gets its head on straight and global warming emissions cause the Earth’s temperature to rise by only one degree between now and 2100. And that rise alone will lead to drastic climate changes.
What are the chances of avoiding this? Zero percent. This is going to happen because of the mistakes of our past.
The second likely scenario, more probable than the first, is that the earth will warm up by up to 2 degrees, in which case climate changes will be cataclysmic.
What are the chances of avoiding this scenario? There is a good chance of avoiding this scenario but only if all greenhouse gas emissions are reduced by 60 percent over the course of the next ten years. I personally don’t see that happening around us.
I wouldn’t encourage anyone to just hope for the best and wait around for things to improve. And obviously, people suffering right now because of global warming can attest to that. I’m referring for example to people living in areas frequently affected by droughts such as the Southern United States. With global warming, as temperatures increase, evaporation rates increase and soil moisture is depleted, further increasing the frequency and duration of droughts. Over time these will get more and more difficult to deal with and choosing such areas to live will become problematic.
This is only one of the types of issues and time is limited here, but all the good people out there need to assess their specific situation and make the changes required now in order to have a better life in the future.

An Overview of the Effects of Global Warming
It is important to understand the significance that global warming has on not only our earth, but our daily lives as well. It’s also important to understand the effects of global warming that our children and grandchildren will experience in the years to come if things continue the way they are now.
Beat the Heat...Beat Global Warming...with Ceiling Fans
Adopting ceiling fan can help save electricity bills on one hand and help reduce greenhouse gases on the other hand. A ceiling fan consume one-tenth of the energy consumed by a medium size air conditioner. Adding to that the circulating air generated by fans feel 9 degree cooler than the non-circulating air. The wide range of ceiling fans available in the market help you choose one matching the décor of your room. Do you need more reasons to shift to ceiling fans?

Toyota Says Auto Industry’s Obligated To Help Solve Global Warming

The Tax Incentives to Go Green in 2010
Although the bad economy and unemployment problems have most Americans watching their budgets closely, you may be surprised to find out how many tax incentives there are for going green in 2010. As you can see, there are plenty of credits and tax breaks for both individuals and businesses that make energy efficient purchases. President Obama has also proposed a new Home Star Program that he is hoping will take effect sometime this year.
Is Global Warming Climate Change The Ultimate Con?
Climate change has existed during the Earth's history without any influence of man whatsoever, and was around long before even the existence of life itself. Indeed mankind owes its very existence directly to the Earth’s episodes of climate change. The science supporting the postulation that manmade CO2 emissions will lead to global warming and hence disastrous climate change is not indisputable. It is quite possible that mankind is being conned into a philosophy that may well be a waste of time, money, resources, and the possibility of doing more harm than good. Is this the ultimate con?
